Adjustment of diversified companies

Revenue proportion

Revenue is the first factor to consider when classifying listed companies. Usually, businesses with high revenue also contribute a large proportion of profits, but this is not always the case, especially for construction and real estate companies, where revenue from previous years will be taken into account. The principle of classification is that any activity that accounts for over 50% of the company's revenue will be considered its main business.

Company's position

If there is no activity that accounts for over 50% of the company's revenue, the company's position will be used to determine its business. In this case, the company's main business is determined as the one where the company has the highest position among its fields of operation. The company's position is determined by comparing its brand with other companies in the same sector or groups of companies with similar businesses.
